Dr. Angelo Farooq
for State Senate

Dr. Angelo Farooq is an entrepreneur and has had a lifelong dedication to education. Angelo and his wife, Vessy, have a daughter named Maya. Maya is currently a student in preschool at Riverside Unified School District. He is proudly born and raised in the Inland Empire and was inducted into the Hall of Fame from his hometown high school - Jurupa Valley.

Angelo has been elected for two terms on the Riverside School Board (governing 50 public schools). During his Presidency in 2019, Riverside Unified School District boasted the highest graduation rate (96%) in the County of Riverside and the highest of all of the 16 largest school districts in the State of California.

His statewide leadership includes serving as a Governor appointee: Chair of the California Workforce Development Board (CWDB) that invests critical apprenticeship and job training investments to support quality economic development in our communities.
